Innovative Initiatives

Innovative Initiatives is a multidisciplinary government initiative working with public, private and academic players to harness digitalisation and achieve a positive digital transformation. In order to achieve this goal, digitisation takes a holistic approach, focusing on strengthening and future-proofing five priorities: skills, policy, infrastructure, ecosystem and government. Executing the Luxembourg government's digitalisation strategy, Innovative Initiatives launches new projects, supports existing ones and stimulates the visibility of national efforts to make digital accessible to everyone.

The SMC and Innovative Initiatives coordinate and support digital skills development projects, including Rail Girls and the Digital Skills and Job Coalition. SMC's national strategy for electronic communications networks, "Powerful Connectivity for All", aims to bring connectivity to all households.
