IT Trainer Meetups

In the name of the Ministry for Digitalisation, the non-profit organisation ErwuesseBildung is organising a series of ‘IT Trainer Meetups’. These events aim to encourage the sharing of skills and ideas in digital inclusion, while strengthening the professional development of trainers.

Here are the dates and themes of the next meetings:·       08 October 2024: ‘E-Banking & LuxTrust’ (12.00 - 13.00: lunch hosted by ErwuesseBildung, 13.00 - 15.00 hours)

• 12 November 2024: ‘Digital fears and how to address them’ (14.00 - 16.00 hours)
• 10 December 2024: ‘Good practices and learning from mistakes’ (14.00 - 16.00 hours)
• 14 January 2025: ‘Developing courses I’ (14.00 - 16.00 hours)
• 11 February 2025: ‘Developing courses II’ (14.00 - 16.00 hours)
• 11 March 2025: ‘Including people with disabilities’ (14.00 - 16.00 hours)
• 1 April 2025: ‘Didactic method kit’ (14.00 - 16.00 hours)
• 6 May 2025: ‘Specific courses (Smartphone, MyGuichet, IFS, etc.)’ (14.00 - 16.00 hours)
• 3 June 2025: ‘Recap and outlook’ (14.00 - 16.00 hours)

At the same time, trainers can use the virtual platform ‘trainer.ewb.lu’, which offers access to a wide range of digital resources, including tutorials, course planning guides and interactive modules designed to improve their teaching practices. The platform also serves as a communication channel where trainers can connect with their peers, share their training experiences, and get support from an active community of professionals. It provides ongoing support for professional development.
