The non-profit organization ErwuesseBildung expands its training offer in digital skills

At the end of April, Marc Hansen, Minister Delegate for Digitalisation, and the representatives of the non-profit association ErwuesseBildung, Pit Peporté and Ulrike Kohl, signed a service provision agreement for the year 2022 relating to training in digital skills for adults.

By continuing the collaboration initiated in 2021, organisations working in the social field will be able to continue to benefit from free training in digital skills developed by the non-profit organisation ErwuesseBildung. In addition,  they pledge to continue the training of trainers within the organisations concerned so that, in turn, they can provide this training themselves. This training further expands access to digital skills, as associations are more independent in organising training for their members and clients.

The agreement signed for 2022 also marks the desire of the signatories to further expand the training offer to contribute to the digital inclusion of all citizens, given that new training courses are added to the 2021 list.

Indeed, the list of training courses covered by this agreement includes, on the one hand, the courses already offered in 2021:

  • a revised and updated "Internetführerschein 1.0" aimed at beginners in the digital field,
  • an "Internetführerschein 2.0" intended for a more experienced public, but requiring advanced training,
  • an "e-banking preparation" module, as preparation for the use of online banking services,
  • "Train the trainers" training, intended for independent trainers or trainers of interested organisations.

On the other hand, new training courses are added to the already existing catalog:

  • "MyGuichet.lu" training, accompanied by video tutorials, as preparation for the public's use of online administrative services,
  • "Stay in Touch" training, as preparation for the use of the various communication applications (Skype, Zoom, Whatsapp, etc.)
  • "Basic use of a digital tablet" training course.

Organisations, wishing to benefit from this free provision of educational material or who are interested in training their trainers, can directly contact the non-profit organization ErwuesseBildung. More information on this subject is available at www.ewb.lu.
