First Interdisciplinary Forum on Digital Inclusion
On the 1st of December 2022, Marc Hansen, Minister Delegate for Digitalisation, launched the first Interdisciplinary Forum on Digital Inclusion in Luxembourg. The forum is one of the 40 initiatives of the National Action Plan for Digital Inclusion, in the elaboration of which a number of organisations and associations, which were present at the Alen Tramsschapp, were consulted.
This first edition of the forum, which will be held biannually starting next year, was a great success, bringing together more than 120 representatives of associations and organisations whose target groups are potentially touched by digital exclusion. This large group of people from various backgrounds was able to attend a round table on "The future digital society. How to include all citizens in the digital transformation".
On stage Ginette Jones, president of the non-profit organisation Entente des offices sociaux, Alain Brever, director of the non-profit organisation GERO, Olivier Grüneisen, director of the non-profit organisation Info-Handicap, and Patrick de la Hamette, president of non-profit organisation Digital Inclusion, debated two specific topics. The invitees discussed the means of animating and improving the partnership dynamic among digital inclusion actors, as well as ways of integrating digital into social work.
The event was filmed and can be viewed on the Ministry for Digitalisation’s Youtube channel. Please find here a summary of the forum.
