Interactive Conference: Shaping just AI

CID "Fraen a Gender", in collaboration with the Ministry for Digitalisation, the Ministry for Gender Equality and Diversity and the Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy of the Ministry of State, is organising an interactive conference in English, led by Eva Gengler, on Tuesday 10 June at 7pm at the Chamber of Employees (2-4 Rue Pierre Hentges), entitled "Shaping Just AI: Feminist Perspectives on Power and Technology".

AI systems are created by people – often few in number, lacking in diversity, and without critical reflection. This is why feminist perspectives are essential: they help to highlight the biases embedded in technology and open up space for fairer alternatives.

This interactive conference offers a critical analysis of the power dynamics within AI. Drawing on concrete examples, it will explore the roots of injustice in intelligent systems and suggest possible avenues for action.
