A clear success for the 4th edition of the National Digital Inclusion Day

Traditionally held on 17 May, this year the Ministry for Digitalisation decided to extend the programme of the National Digital Inclusion Day over two days: the first day was dedicated to stakeholders in digital inclusion, while the second was aimed at the public.

Interdisciplinary Forum on Digital Inclusion

On 16 May, the programme began with a new edition of the Interdisciplinary Forum on Digital Inclusion. This Forum regularly brings together representatives of associations and organisations committed to promoting digital inclusion among their audiences. The exchange of experiences is designed to help participants identify the most effective ways to ensure that all citizens are included in the digital era.

This year, attendees were able to take part in two panel discussions, each followed by a Q&A session. The first panel focused on the innovations and challenges that artificial intelligence brings to the field of education. The second addressed the skills of the "digital citizen", which are key to successful inclusion in today’s society.

Digital Inclusion Prize

The programme concluded with the presentation of the "Digital Inclusion Prize 2025" by Stéphanie Obertin, Minister for Digitalisation. Created in 2022, this award recognises projects selected through the Ministry’s annual call for projects for digital inclusion.

This year’s winners were:

  • Foundation APEMH with their project "Starter Pack"
  • Club Haus op der Heed with their project "Éisleker Koppen: Gesellschaftsspill"
  • Neon Internet & Visual Online with their joint project "KI Léierbud"
  • Stëftung Hëllef Doheem & GoldenMe with their joint initiative "Digital Doheem"

For the 2025 - 2026 edition, the Ministry for Digitalisation allocated a total budget of 250.000 euros for the call for projects.

Videos showcasing the various award-winning projects in 2025 can be viewed on the Ministry for Digitalisation’s YouTube channel or here in the "Videos" section.

Digital Inclusion Fair

On Saturday 17 May, from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm, the public was invited to attend the Digital Inclusion Fair. Now in its fourth edition, the event has seen growing success year after year.

The fair specifically targets those considered to be "digitally excluded", offering them an opportunity to meet representatives from both public and private entities. This year, some 30 of these representatives were on hand to answer questions about their digital services and products.
