The “YourConnectivity Box” – a new tool for safer and more transparent connectivity

The Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy (SMC), in partnership with MyConnectivity GIE and numerous institutional stakeholders, has launched the “YourConnectivity Box”, a practical tool designed to support citizens in managing their digital services and protecting their personal data. This initiative forms part of the National Ultra-High-Speed Strategy, which aims to ensure accessible, transparent, and secure connectivity for everyone.

Designed as a clear and educational guide, the YourConnectivity Box addresses the main consumer questions across four key areas: the management of services and contracts, the implementation of digital security measures, the identification of threats such as scams and fraud attempts, and access to free support and mediation services.

The platform provides easy-to-understand guides and practical advice on exercising rights related to telecommunications and data protection and directs users to official Luxembourgish tools that allow them, among other things, to compare offers, check network quality, or report fraudulent practices.
