Maintaining a non-digital alternative
Some people do not wish to or cannot use digital tools, whether for health reasons, personal beliefs, lack of confidence or persistent difficulties despite support measures. For these groups, the existence of an alternative path is not only necessary but also reassuring..
These alternatives ensure that all citizens can continue to access public services, information and administrative procedures, even without using digital technology. This also means ensuring that essential information is available in a variety of formats that are understandable and usable by all.
Initiatives
To guarantee accessibility for all, the National Action Plan provides for initiatives to maintain analogue solutions and human support. These measures include physical reception, personalised assistance and concrete alternatives for those who cannot or do not wish to use digital technology.
To maintain an alternative to digital technology, three objectives have been defined:
- Maintain a physical reception service
- Provide personalised support to citizens
- Offer alternatives to digital solutions
For more details on the corresponding initiatives and their implementation methods, please consult the National Action Plan for Digital Inclusion document.
